About ACP

Founded in 1881, Albany College of Pharmacy is New York State's oldest pharmacy college and one of the only private, independent pharmacy schools in the United States.

ACP has a long history of serving its students and health care professionals as one of the premier pharmacy colleges in the nation. With about 1,250 students and growing rapidly, the College prepares students for licensure and rewarding careers in a number of fields as it enters a new era of health care, focusing not only on pharmacy, but also on pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical technology and research.

Located in the University Heights section of New York state's capital city, ACP is at the heart of a world of opportunity - surrounded by its academic neighbors Albany Law School, Albany Medical College and Sage College of Albany, as well as the Wadsworth Center's David Axelrod Institute and the Center for Medical Science.
